Eligibility: Available to households, small businesses, and community facilities installing batteries alongside new or existing rooftop solar systems.

VIC
Victoria is the only state to offer an upfront incentive for solar panels in additional to the national incentive program. If you qualify for Solar Victoria you will also get access to a $8,800 loan for a battery. ​

Eligibility Criteria:
- value of the property is under $3 million
- combined household taxable income of all owners is less than $210,000 per year
- property address has not previously received a solar panel (PV) or solar battery rebate under this program​​

Queensland unfortunately your state battery incentive has closed, however you still are eligible for an upfront discount on your solar and also a discount on your battery thanks to the Cheaper Battery Scheme.

Feed in Tariff
Bill Credits​
​
Benefit: Credits applied to your electricity bill for the amount of excess energy you send to the grid.
​
Eligibility: Available to households and small businesses, your distributor must consent to you exporting power to the grid. We lodge this application on your behalf before installation.

Feed in tariff amount: Varies from $0.00 to $0.12 across the country, the amount is set by your energy retailer so it's worth shopping around but make sure you compare all the rates not just the feed in tariff amount.​​​
